Community of Young Christians in Politics

The Community of Young Christians in Politics (CYCP) is a network of young believers who are advancing in careers of public service. Our mission is to encourage, equip, and connect Christians who are striving to faithfully integrate their faith with their vocation in politics, policy, and advocacy. Our young professionals are diverse in their politics and backgrounds—yet they gather regularly in intentional conversation to build bridges and encourage one another. Whether through prayer, fellowship, or professional development, CYCP is here to support you as you seek to be a faithful presence in the public square.

What We Do

  • CYCP hosts monthly Zoom calls where we pray together, learn together, share updates, and discuss challenges and questions regarding our work and faith. These calls are the core of the CYCP community and are the most important obligation for its members.

  • For Washington D.C. members, CYCP hosts a monthly gathering in person and other events throughout the year, including a summer cookout and our annual Christmas dinner.

  • CYCP operates a Slack channel where we stay in touch in between meetings.

  • Being a member of CYCP provides you with early access and/or discounted CCPL and partner programming, curriculums, and events.

  • CYCP is an ongoing community, meaning that once you have applied, you are in the community until it makes sense for you to transition out. Active members engage in at least 50% of our programming and have ongoing engagement with the CCPL network.
